HOUSTON (AP) - Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub returned to Sunday's game against Tennessee after injuring his left ankle. Schaub was hit in the back on a blitz by Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan with 6:15 left in the first quarter. Schaub fumbled, but recovered. Trainers worked on his left leg and ankle as he laid on the field. Sage Rosenfels replaced Schaub and threw an interception to Nick Harper. Schaub left the field and was taken to the locker room for X-rays. He jogged back to the sideline early in the second quarter and put on his helmet. The Titans led 9-7 when Schaub re-entered the game with 11:41 left in the first half. Schaub has started every game for the Texans this season since being acquired from Atlanta early this year. |
