NFL Week 12 Opening Odds

(The Spread) – The opening odds for Week 12 in the NFL are out, including the point spreads for all three Thanksgiving Games.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed the Houston Texans as 3-point road favorites versus the Lions, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 49 points. The Washington Redskins are also 6-point road underdogs versus the Dallas Cowboys, while the New York Jets are 7-point home underdogs against the New England Patriots on Thanksgiving night.

On Sunday, the Atlanta Falcons will visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a clash of NFC South rivals. The Falcons have opened as 1.5-point favorites, although the game has become a pick’em at some sports books. The Cincinnati Bengals are also 6-point home favorites versus the Oakland Raiders, while the red-hot Denver Broncos are 7-point favorites versus the horrendous Kansas City Chiefs.

Continuing with Sunday’s odds, the Jaguars are 2.5-point home favorites versus the Tennessee Titans while the Colts are 3.5-point favorites against the Bills. The Seahawks-Dolphins game in Miami is a pick’em, while the Chargers have surprisingly opened as 1.5-point favorites versus the visiting Baltimore Ravens.

The streaking Saints will host the 49ers in New Orleans on Sunday afternoon and oddsmakers have installed San Francisco as a 2.5-point road favorite. The Giants are also 1.5-point favorites versus the Packers on Sunday Night Football and in one of the worst Monday Night Football matchups of the season, the Eagles are 2.5-point home favorites versus the struggling Panthers.
