Seahawks vs. Lions Week 8 Odds
DETROIT, MI (The Spread) – If the Lions are going to make a run at the postseason again this season they need to start winning soon. They’re favored over the Seahawks at 1:00PM ET on Sunday.
SEATTLE: The 49ers beat the Seahawks 13-6 last Thursday night as Russell Wilson completed just 9-of-23 passes for 122 yards and one interception. Marshawn Lynch also rushed for 103 yards on 19 carries while Ben Obomanu caught three passes for 50 yards. The loss dropped Seattle’s record to 4-3 and 5-2 against the spread. Mikel Leshoure rushed for 63 yards on 12 carries while Titus Young caught six passes for 81 yards and Ryan Broyles scored the team’s lone touchdown. The loss dropped Detroit’s record to 2-4 and 2-4 against the spread, while the over has hit in three of the Lions’ first five games. ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Lions are 1-point favorites over the Seahawks, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 43 points. The Seahawks enter this game with a straight up record of 4-3 and are 5-2 against the spread, while the Lions are 2-4 straight up and 2-4 ATS. TRENDS: The Seahawks are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games versus the NFC and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall.
