Super Bowl XLVIII Viewing Guide
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (The Spread) – 2014 will be the first time a Super Bowl will be played outdoors in a cold weather environment when the game heads to MetLife Stadium for SB XLVIII. We've put together a guide to help you get ready for the big game. What: Super Bowl XLVIII When: Sunday, February 2, 2014 Where: East Rutherford, New Jersey Kickoff: 6:30PM ET Stadium: MetLife Stadium TV Network: FOX Opening Super Bowl Futures: Broncos and 49ers favored at 7/1 Notes: This will be the first Super Bowl played outdoors in a cold weather environment and the first in 38 years to be played outdoors on artificial turf. This will also be the first Super Bowl in which two states (New York and New Jersey) will work together when it comes to hosting the game. Because of the potential weather concerns, there’s been discussion about whether or not there will be a halftime show.
