Colts vs. Ravens Prop Odds
BALTIMORE, MD (The Spread) – The Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts have plenty of playmakers that could step up in today’s NFL Playoff Game. Here is a look at the prop odds available for this contest. View Updated 2013 Super Bowl Odds The Ravens come into this game as the favorite at home, as they have odds of -7 points against the Colts. The over/under total for the game has been set at 47 points. There are a number of key players on both sides of the ball in this game. The main focus will be on Colts quarterback Andrew Luck and Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis. According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Lewis has been given over/under odds of 8 tackles for this game, while Lucks has been given over/under odds of 20.5 completions. Lewis is a big focus in this game because he announced he will retire at the end of this season. This could essentially be his final NFL game. Lewis has not played since Oct. 14 due to an injury. He is making his return to try and give one final run at a Super Bowl. This season, Lewis had 57 tackles in six games of action, which is an average just under 10 per game. Lewis had double-digit tackles in four of his six games this season. Last season, Lewis had at least 8 tackles in 8 of the 12 games he played in. With this possibly being his last game, and it assuredly is his final game at Baltimore, you can expect him to give everything he has and be a factor in the game. Luck had a great rookie season. He threw for 4,374 yards and 23 touchdowns. He did so with a total of 339 completions, which works out to an average of 21.2 completions per game. Luck had at least 21 completions in 8 of his 16 games, but he has failed to do so in his last four games. A lot of what Luck will be able to do depends on how the game plays out. If the Colts managed to get a big lead, Luck likely won’t be passing as much, thus limiting his opportunity to complete 21 passes. The Ravens had an average passing defense this season, allowing 228.1 yards per game through the air. They also allowed 20.9 pass completions per game. There is no telling how Lewis’ return could impact the pass defense.
